But i i'm looking forward to seeing what he does with it from what i remember the cast looks good he you know he's doing what he does which he's bringing it back to like you know medieval times when the werewolf legend began to arise so you know i'm sure it's going to be too long but at the same time i'm sure it's going to look amazing and i'm sure the performances are going to be good i just hope that if if they nail the werewolf because That was my big disappointment with Lee Whannell's The Wolfman was I just don't think they nailed the werewolf.

If he nails the werewolf, then I'm all in.

So, so that's how I prefaced it because I was like, I was always trying to write like dead silence type, you know, like I know I'm, I'm actually very aware that I'm following on from, uh, Lee 1L's episode as well.

So, um, Just he's one of our best, you know, like he's from my hometown.

I reckon he's one of the best horror writers to ever do it.

And Elijah Wood and Rainn Wilson.

It doesn't let itself get in the way.

So, yeah, and as I stated in The previous episode, I am a big Leigh Whannell fan.

Perhaps the most surprising thing, though, about the franchise is how it's grown from being a simple film about a family living in a basically haunted house... to where it is today, where the expert Elise Rayner, played by Lin Shay, has become an explorer of the mythical dimension known as the Further.

Now, to keep things fresh, different writers have introduced some interesting ingredients into what was originally Lee Whannell's idea.

We've seen a criminal element put into it in The Last Key.

And to be honest, some of those little twists and turns that writers have put in there have worked and some have not.

so like even though um like something that they that they make callbacks to the other films or uh they they they all kind of slot together like a jigsaw piece even though um like when the say like the first movie is written there's something in the second movie that ties into the first movie really well, even though it was never intended to be a second movie.

They never intended to have that second part of the story.

And that's something that I kind of have enjoyed about Lee Whannell's franchises like this, even though, God knows, he probably has absolutely nothing to do with them anymore other than being credited as a producer.
