W- We're joined today by a legendary sports agent, Leigh Steinberg, who- who's done so much more besides just being a sports agent.

He's done a lot with concussion protocols, a lot with CTE, a- a- and is doing, continues to do great things in addition to writing best-selling books.

Leigh, when I grew up, uh, or y- you're not that much older than me, just a little bit, but you were a household name in sports, and you still represent some of the greatest names in sports today.

When I left that seven-figure job to go up to Silicon Valley and raise hundreds of millions of dollars, the truth is, I could always go back being a high, you know, high-paid executive vice president somewhere of sales.

And I left that to be CEO of-- And then when I left that to go work for Lee Steinberg.

Then when I left that, there was always a fallback.

Why do you think people take solace and security in the fact that I have capability, skill, knowledge, and desires that are marketable, and if I mess this up, I can always fall back?

Um, how tough was that for you and your family?

Again, I kinda likened it back to college.

Um, a new coach coming in, we trying to build through, uh, the draft and, and getting some free agents.

But, again, I knew it wasn't gonna be easy.

And now I'm going to the South.

Then I have a chat with Lee Steinberg, who's the guy Jerry Maguire was based on.

We're gonna talk about the Kawhi Leonard situation.

missed that uh immersing myself in that uh although i see upstairs i got delivered the the new memoir by rick the temp okay rick campanelli from much music his new memoir is upstairs i'm gonna actually go through the paper paper version so people should pick up the book again it's called militants mobsters and mavericks the men who built modern toronto in the 1960s and 70s and before i update you on what buildings you can see in the background of that picture that's how we're going to close i thought maybe i'd ask you this question so i often think about um what statues think you mentioned you're a basketball fan i always think We need a, well, Kawhi Leonard, well, more about that with Lee Steinberg, but we need, like, for example, we need a Kyle Lowry statue, like where Kyle Lowry is taking a charge, okay? This is the statue I can envision outside what we now call the Scotiabank Arena.

But if you had to pick one person in your book who deserves a statue in Toronto, who do you pick and where do you put that statue? Putting you on the spot here, Gilberto.
