Psychological trauma as well.

And you see that is the main reason why they are also notifying students that You should also, I mean, when you are going to apply for school, with the exception of the schools that are known like AUST, Legon, Winnie Bar, and other institutions that are very, very known, that is okay.
D
43:39Deborah AdosoHOST
But you see private institutions, there's private universities, and I can tell you that these private universities are becoming too much of late.
D
43:49Deborah AdosoHOST
Anytime we wake up, we wake up to a new institution, a new school.
D
43:55Deborah AdosoHOST
you don't even know whether these institutions be accredited or not and so i think it's about time i mean parents parents should do their worst that favor and even the students yourself we have google you can search research the institutions make your findings to be sure whether this school is well accredited before you start pumping your money into that school because it's it's kind of frustrating level 400 or level 400 like you're almost done with school and then they bring a letter that the school is not being recognized and so the school will have to be closed down and sometimes these private institutions i don't really understand them they have the numbers i'm telling you and the fees they are paying is it's a lot but you'll be surprised to know that they will not even have that money to go and pay for their accreditation and sometimes the g-tech they they have no say they have no option either they close down the school or you have to come and do the needful and so you see i feel like this can be prevented gtech also have a role to play you don't always sit in your offices and wait for schools to and authorities of schools to walk into the office to register it is also your duty to go around and inspect these institutions whether they are accredited or not for the sake of those innocent students The more reason why 99 of these private institutions are kind of attractive enough for a lot of students is because, see, it has to do with these public universities.
D
45:45Deborah AdosoHOST
They have their cut-off point.
D
45:47Deborah AdosoHOST
If Legon is telling you that they are taking, maybe you won't offer medicine, and Legon is telling you that they are taking aggregate 12 or maybe 6 for medicine, that is it.
D

If you bring 12, they will give you a different course to offer.

Now, at this moment, if you are going to secondary, if you are going to university, right, right? You complete university and you will not get a job.
K
4:36Kwabena Obeng DarkoGUEST
So it is better, like the younger ones, those who are coming, they should have that kind of mindset to see if, like if I'm going to school and I complete university, I complete Legon or university and I, I don't get somebody to employ me, I can start my own thing.
K
4:50Kwabena Obeng DarkoGUEST
So I think we need to develop, like we- it, it's a skill that we have to develop right from childhood.
