Lego Castle

I remember adventures.

I remember this change into kind of that... era of Lego if you kind of argue that maybe we're in a post modern era until time passes along and it changes but regardless I look back on Castle as rose tinted glasses and for whatever reason I had more Playmobil Castle than I had Lego Castle I don't know why I think it just was more conducive to actual play and your your story nick about your the friend having all the cool stuff well they had all the cool playmobil stuff so maybe that's why but i always looked back very fondly on castle i always knew what it was i loved the castle medieval theme age of empires came out shortly after that was my favorite game as a kid sort of thing and For you, though, who didn't really experience Lego as a kid, do you see this draw to Castle at all? Is it just kind of old Lego sets that are weird compared to the ones today?

I see the draw.

I don't personally have the nostalgia for it.

And I'm sure there's lots of options out there to build with.

So I appreciate that.

i do think too it's one of those things maybe a frustration in the lego community almost like trains in today's era right where you do go to different shows you walk around you just see all the castle there you see all the trains there you see the youtube channel is called lego castle builder or whatever right of there is a lot of people who really like this and it it always kind of comes up in this discussion just Lego even care? Do they even know what we want? And then they throw something out like Lion's Night Castle and people are lining up to go get it sort of thing.

You know, like at Lego, like they read this stuff and they're like, do they even know what we want? And they're like, just wait on it.

I mean, you hit the nail on the head.

As, as I said, and I'd really tried to justify, Bionicle was good because of the historical significance, because of the storyline, because of the, the passion and emotion behind it.
