We did love The Crown

... of the production company, Left Bank Pictures, their kids, like, I grew up watching on YouTube, which I thought was so interesting.

Oh, yes.

And, like, I made that connection-

It's one of those stories of a film that takes forever to actually come to being.

But BBC Films owned it for a while and Left Bank Pictures owned it for a while.

But eventually, when Working Title and Studio Canal came together, they mentioned a few directors and he came on and he loved this script as he read it then.

And we worked on it after that together and he guided it home, as they were.
