And I believe it's going to be fine with you as well.

So yeah, we are, of course, we're going to be thinking what you're doing every day and every night and hope you don't do stupid things and start walking around Leeds City Centre on your own in the middle of the night.

That would be a pretty bad idea.

But I think you'll be fine with that.

But yeah, I think it's great that you're leaving.

Yeah.

But you said it isn't smart of me to go around walking in Leeds City Centre alone at night.

That's a good follow up to my next question.

[laughs] How did you first get drawn into this particular universe?

Um, as an 11-year-old, I found the shop in Leeds City Center, and I was hooked.

And, and what, what is the b- it's a sort of tabletop thing, isn't it? Yeah.

Yeah, a tabletop war game.

So I decided to move back to Leeds.

I opened up my first business called L1 Performance, right in the heart of Leeds City Centre.

Mainly it was a gym, personal training, group training, but upstairs we had a small little studio, 15 bikes, and I called it Ride.

The boutique world hadn't opted Leeds yet, so I didn't think that would be the prime business.

So yeah, we opened up Leeds.

A year and a half later, did Manchester.

So Leeds, we're at Leeds City Centre, East Parade.

Manchester, we're at Deansgate, right in the heart of Manchester.

No stone will be left unturned as far as John Taylor's concerned.

[traffic bustling] [horn honking] On a Sunday afternoon in November 2000, teenagers Leanne Tiernan and her friend Sarah Whitehouse went on a Christmas shopping trip to Leeds City Center.

We'd been shopping, and we were having a laugh about boyfriends.

The usual stuff.

[laughs]

Um, uh, which I know because there's quite a good-- Well, I don't know if it's still open, but there was a good pub in Leeds City Center called Nation of Shopkeepers.

But anyway, do a bit of promotion for them.

Um, so yeah, so you've got the retail element.
