Lee Weeks

Thanks again to Talking Joe for posting these the other day.

Now, of course, you've got the Lee Weeks and Mike Spicer cover.

with Flint and Jay on the cover there.

Obviously the black and white variant, which is the same Lee Weeks.

And the Mimit Malavia Secret Dossier variant cover C is of Stalker.

And we can look at those in a little bit more detail here.

So here is that Lee Weeks and Mike Spicer cover on the left, Lee Weeks inks on the right.

uh very nice indeed and of course the uh one of my favorite tropes the uh the desk with all the files spread out on it love that and uh yeah lovely stuff um What's the other thing I was going to say? Yeah, I mean, I've talked about my love for this particular trope of covers.

I'm in.

Lee Weeks did a great job.

It was fantastic, and it's the last thing we expected.

It's like, this is actually really funny.

So basically it's going to take over where that last issue dropped us off.

And now cover A is a Lee Weeks and Mike Spicer kind of special with cover B being the Lee Weeks inks of that version of the cover.

I do like that cover, by the way, Beachhead and Helix.

It's very cool.

She becomes a good person.

She meets Gambit, and you can adapt the Rogue mini Which is also, you know, that's technically a sequel to The Gambit, the Lee Weeks.

But the thing that you really do need to do, and this is, this is such a head-scratcher, I don't know how they could do it, you have to do Captain Marvel versus Rogue.

[laughs] I don't know if Brie Larson would be down for it.

I love the character work.

It reminded me of Lee Weeks a little bit.

I can see that.

I thought-

I was really happy with it.

This felt like an old school G.I. Joe book.

And speaking of Lee Weeks, great Lee Weeks cover.

Wow.

That's awesome.

But yeah, this is written by Ed Brubaker, art by Steve Epting, Michael Lark, and John Paul Leone, inked by Mike Perkins, colors by Frank D'Armato, lettered by Randy Gentil, Chris Heliopoulos, and Joe Caramanga.

We also get Lee Weeks on pencils, Jesse Delperdang on inks, and Matt Mia on colors for issue 10.

I only bring this up separately because this issue is an outlier in the story, and it's a tie-in.

to an event called house of m uh we'll go over it briefly when we get there um i don't i know that uh we were talking just a bit ago but i know chris and brett did not read that issue i did because you didn't need to
