So think of it like you're playing against a Lee Sin, a Viktor mid lane, enemy support is a Karma, Ezreal, and their top lane is like a Sion.

those champions can't really lock me down and just kill me and surprise me.

Whereas if I play against, let's say, a Rengar or Qiyana, I know I can die anytime.

And then bam.

Guys, they were trying to lose versus Brazil.

And frankly, their gameplay was so sloppy that if it wasn't for a random Skumond glide on Lee Sin! Think about, like, when you think about Skumond, Lee Sin might be outside of the top 10 champions that you associate with Skumond.

Yeah.

And it took a Lee Sin glide from Skumond to get them over the line, guys.

Everything about this team is just off in comparison to how G2 looked domestically.

There's no rhythm in their play.

And his Akali game was terrible.

Jose's Lee Sin was very good.

And his Pantheon, I mean, he gets like a 7.5.

I think Jan gets a nine.

What do you have for jungle, Nathan?

Jungle, you've got champs like Graves, Lee Sin, Viego, Lilliar, a lot of these champions, like in our primary schools.

They want to be able to get strong, kill ship it.

You know, these champions, you know, you can do a lot.

Yeah, so these are great

champions to play if you're looking to be that more holistic player that's looking to maybe get involved in competitive or have a bit more diversification in Clash and things like that.

A great Lee Sin or a great Viego player, they could easily pivot to either a Xin Zhao or a Wukong, whatever, like maybe a high econ or a low econ jungler.

They have the skills to do both.

He got picked off in side lanes a few times, and G2 lost a lot of their momentum and kind of had to resettle themselves in this game.

Now, a lot of the gold lead they had was actually on Skumond, who went absolutely nuts on the Lee Sin, by the way.

But a gold lead on Lee Sin doesn't mean nearly as much as it does on another carry.

So later in the game at the Baron and late Dragon fights, all the gold lead was still on Skumon.

So there was a period of time in this game where this was a very, very losable game for G2.

He invades Jose's red buff at level 2.

Now, Kiana's one of the few champions, and part of why she's getting played right now, is she's one of the few champions that actually just wins a lot of these fights early like that in the first few levels, especially against Lee.

And there are not many champions that beat Lee early.

So he ended up bullying off both his red and Krugs.

That ended up pulling CoreJJ out of bottom lane XP range as well.

They got a little bit overzealous on a skirmish bot around 13 minutes that resulted in some kills going liquids way.

And, eventually a 4v2 tower dive that went their way as well.

They ended up picking up the first three dragons, though, because they had all this control bot, and as long as Doggo and Pout made it difficult to pick them off with the Lee Sin, they were going to win most of these fights.

He's leveled up so much since the last time that we saw him on FlyQuest, and I really, really, really am excited for what this guy can do at Worlds.

Specifically, if he gets a Lee Sin game, I don't think it matters what team he's against.

If he gets to play Lee Sin versus T1, he's going to style on them for that game, and that's enough for me to be a breakout player.

If you just get that one pop-off moment, that pop-off performance...

Uh, and making it out of Swiss stage and into, uh, knockouts would be, uh, an extra little cherry on top, which I think the TL are good enough to do if they get a good draw.
