Any last thoughts for the audiences out there deali- realizing that this audience is one that maybe feels underrated, uh, maybe feels like they're the less than 1%, that there's greatness they have that's not being seen?

So it isn't a hard sell for me to believe that this Cult of Asclepius has been going on for that long, but how do you qualify it in the book? How do you, or where of it do we know its origins? Do we know how it started and how it morphed into what it is today?

If you look at the Black Sea and the, the area that's Ukraine right now, and that whole area, you had, you had the Scythians, the P- the Pythians, I think, and the, and the, the, the Phrygians, the Lydians.

The, the, it's an area that was known for its poisoning, okay? They were famous poisoners back there.

And in the area, which is, which was ancient Anatolia encompasses the whole of what was, what's Turkey now.

That was where a, a lot of these big temples of the old pagan religions were built.

I mean, they were all over the world, but th- this was a big center for the cult of Apollo.

Would you have done it differently knowing what you know now?

I don't know how this generation's generations behind us are going to know how to think because he's saying they won't know if they're virtual or if they're authentic and they won't care.

Well, and I'll tell you what, I've even discovered that with doing my book.

So here, you know, the nightmare I'm facing right now is I have 18 hours to print and I'm supposed to have all the pictures renovated because I had pictures in there that I didn't know that were under copyright.

point is that I don't think we can reform medicine because it's not because of complete ignorance.

The people at the top, they know what's going on.

They know that this stuff is not right.

You cannot tell me that all the smart guys at the Institute of Medicine and Harvard and all these places, that they don't know anything.

There's some things that are so basic that we've known that I pick on that one because that's an orthopedic issue.

So tell us all about it.

So anyway, so tell me about your path, why you call yourself the medical rebel, and what was your experience in working with the military?

Well, yeah, you know, believe it or not, I have to tell you a funny story.

So I started out my life, I was not gonna be an orthopedic surgeon.

I wanted to be a cardiologist.

I was, I was doing a straight internal medicine residency when I got out of, uh, University of Rochester Medical School.

So I, uh, I thought I was gonna be a c- you know, doing medicine.

Well, one day, so as a, as a medical intern, straight medical intern, uh, one day we had this guy from the NIH come over, and he came to the residents' lounge.

Bible, pharmacy, uh, will all nations be deceived.

But in this day and age, in this information and technology age, for there not to be any updates, for them not to appear to be following procedure now, how do you think we got here?

Now, honestly, that's a difficult question.

The reason I take such a, I realize the gravity of the question is because I feel like as a nation, we were going in one direction after 2020.

After George Floyd and Ahmaud Arbery and Breonna Taylor and the national reckoning about race in this country, we discussed openly for the first time, probably in this country's history, that we have a systemic race issue.

And for this work, we talked about it on a national level.

And I was with Ben Crump the other day, and Kamala Harris called to speak with Nolan's family.

And there's still a national discussion going on.

I think that from the beginning, the prosecution was where, was overzealous in going for a murder one charge.

Murder one means murder with malice, with aforethought.

That means that's not a heat of the moment.

This is not a response.

All the evidence that we saw, uh, says that Austin Metcalf, the victim, was the initial aggressor.

You know, and I, and I know that you are not a defense attorney, but you know, just from your perspective, what's next?
