My passion for...

You know, for Lee Abbey is that, you know, the founding vision was it's a place to rekindle the fires of faith, prayer and witness.

And I think that's, you know, that's our dream.

Our hope for these advanced weeks is that they will set us on fire, set us on fire with white hot faith that will be sent out to change the world.

So I did a

week at Lee Abbey just before COVID, just as COVID was hitting, actually, in early 2020, I think it was.

And that was all about attention.

And there wasn't a great deal there.

hey everyone welcome to the lee abbey podcast it's great to be back with you um caroline and david are here today to uh yeah just fill you in on a few things so um first of all we thought we'd catch you up with what's been happening here over the summer and but then we've also just got some big news we want to share with you but we'll come back to that

yes

so we started last summer and my first day as warden of lee abbey this alarm went off i didn't know what it was and then it was like we don't have any water to drink or to shower it's not too crucial

is it water

you know etc etc so i was kind of like okay what do we do about that I don't know anything and you know the team are really on it and wonderful over the winter we basically the tank where we store our water because we're kind of self-sufficient with water self-sufficient But we relined the tank, we spent a lot of time and effort and energy and money sorting all that out and we have another source of water.
