And I'm so glad to be joined today by Alita Robertson of Leader Games.

Thank you for having me.

This is so exciting.

Yeah, I've spoken to many of your colleagues and former colleagues in the past.

Leader Games, of course, is a huge name in the game industry, but I'm particularly excited to be talking to you because of your history with the company and kind of the unique state that Leader is in right now as they're kind of embarking on a new stage with the game that you designed and you're producing.

We're talking about Kart today.

They've steered me wrong a couple times, but for the most part, it's been all good.

Leader Games was like that for me as well.

So there's some that I truly blindly back, and others where it's like, hey, it's been hit and miss.

Let me look a little bit deeper.

hoping that that last die will roll the way that they did and it doesn't and so they get nothing you know but that's yeah that's the luck of dice really and they went for that so that's king of tokyo

so i'm going to be reviewing root a woodland game of might and right Root is designed by Cole Worley and published by Leader Games.

It's a game where you play as a range of woodland factions.

So it's got this really cool animal theme.

Mm.

Be interesting, I think, uh, 'cause Leader Games have changed a bit, haven't they, in terms of, um, what's-his-name not being there anymore, right? Um-

Oh, Worley.

Yeah.

Um, and I think, I think the, I'm right in saying the, the rights have stayed with Leader Games for, for Root, so whether that, that becomes it, we'll, we'll see.

Yeah.

Yeah.

It kind of, uh, makes you imagine that there's this world and this story behind it.
