Leave Home

Oh, I'm gonna sidetrack us just a little bit because this is relevant, and I was thinking about this yesterday.

The first six records, I would say, really the first seven, so those being Ramones, Leave Home, Rocket to Russia, Road to Ruin, uh, End of the Century, and Subterranean, no, and Pleasant Dreams.

Subterranean Jungle is seventh.

Um, those six records were just sort of this pile to me and, and I didn't understand that the first record was more important than, than, you know, End of the Century, which was n- became much maligned because of the Phil Spector production and whatever.

I wanted it to be the first album.

They actually released two albums in '76.

I, I think Leave Home came out in '76 too, or it might be Leave Home and Rocket to Russia in '77, but I, I think there's two in '76.

Maybe there's-

all right all right It's interesting to say that you said Secret Treaties is the one, and I'll cross the bridge when we get there, but that is not the answer that I got.

Honestly, I feel like when I speak to people about this band, it's like how when you speak to Ramones fans, they all think Leave Home is the best Ramones record.

And when you speak to the world, it's Rocket to Russia or the self-titled, right?

Oh, yeah.
