And here we're moving to nursing student simulation and thinking about a concept called learning analytics visualization.

So the title is Nursing Students' Perceptions of Learning Analytics Visualizations in Immersive Simulation Debriefing, a Qualitative Analysis.

And this is by Osborne et al.

and a team from Monash University here in Australia, in Melbourne, in clinical simulation in nursing.

So video we know can help, but it's also potentially quite a big cognitive load.

And we've had conversations about that, haven't we, Ben, about the pros and cons of using video in your debrief.

Well, is there something in between maybe these learning analytics visualizations? So what are these? And I'm going to quote from the article here and then encourage people to look at the articles because there's some lovely visualizations to have a look at.

Just like any question, like what kind of problem types work best for me? Just ask, because we have access to all the data.

We think that everyone should be able to access their own learning analytics.

That's incredible.

Self-regulated learning is one of my favorite learning theories.

I think the barrier to entry there, the, this community is so, so, so welcoming.

I'm sure you know because you talk to a lot of these founders.

But even in this like the main conferences, AIED, EDM, Learning at Scale, Learning Analytics and Knowledge, Slack, the folks are really like the best community I've ever met because I, I straddle both fences.

Like I, I publish a lot at AI conferences, but then I also love the AI for education conferences because it's a, it's more of a family.

It really is.

And to your point about how leadership tracks this vast web of microinteractions, the evolution of learning analytics was the final piece of the puzzle.

Right, because you have to be able to measure it.

Exactly.
