You're also finding ways of doing it like you're advocating actively you're doing recordings etc one of your projects is unheard heritage um it's a recording initiative to revive great and forgotten music regardless of gender but it also is definitely raising up uh gender as well as a fact of that how did that begin what are the aims and what are you hoping to achieve with it

I think that we've had enough people now say, hey, there's a massive problem here that we have to be at a point where we have enough information to be able to come up with answers.

And my approach is very much, OK, the.

the industry is still moving very slowly when it comes to incorporating women composers.

And the more I sort of think about why and talk to people about why is it, it feels like it's a collaborative problem.
