Le Mans Ultimate

So morning, Julie, my wife Julie's a nurse, so she goes out and works for l- you know, go, do, does a proper job.

So she leaves the, the house at 7:30, then I'm, I'll finish my coffee, then I'll come up and boot up the simulator, then just see what's racing that day, and have a look at the schedule on, on iRacing or I'll maybe quickly log into Race Room or Le Mans Ultimate and just see what tickles my fancy that day.

And then bit of practice, then do the race, and fingers crossed it, it goes well first time.

But there's some races that you wanna do over and over again, but you can't keep posting the races over and over again on YouTube.

And he stole this from Le Mans Ultimate, he does admit.

But basically, it's like a GT3 or IMSA style racing.

But you pick the car.

It's a fun game, but that review process was a slog.

We should probably move on anyway, back to sim racing land and Le Mans Ultimate specifically.

And there is a new official e-sport series, which in 2026 is quite a rare thing.

The Genesis Magma Racing e-sport series.

It entered World Enduro Championship in Le Mans for the first time in 2026.

It'll be there in 2027.

So starting the 6th of October, within Le Mans Ultimate, there'll be eight qualifying rounds.

You have to do the races within Le Mans Ultimate within the online championship mode, which is normally for paid subscribers only.

That's pure video game elements.

So those sit kind of right in between, and then once you get to iRacing and Le Mans Ultimate, those are trying to simulate real events a lot more closely.

There's some variance.

Like, in iRacing, it almost feels like their rule set is, like, outside of IMSA or WEC or the FIA.

Uh, a big shout-out to my mods.

They are so engaged, they're so passionate about the LMU, about, uh, Le Mans Ultimate, about racing.

It is nice that they've made the fan zones for all of the fans here and everything.

Things like that, with all different... stuff and to incorporate and get everyone involved in such simulators with Le Mans Ultimate on them.

It's understandable why they're not here this year, but it's good that they've been around, doing what they do.

And they've still got presents here as well, so keeping everyone informed and stuff, so it's cool.

just a quick note from our friends at le mans ultimate uh version 1.4.1.5 is now live.

So as we remember, version 1.4 came out and with it came a metric ton of netcode issues.
