Le Grand Continent

Now, you talked about the condescension of some of the older generation, particularly when it comes to politics.

I'm going to be careful here where I tread, because last week there was a high school teacher in the Paris suburbs who wrote under a pseudonym for the Le Grand Continent news site.

He believes that the recent ban on phones in schools may be a contributing factor.

Is that condescending or is there a grain of truth in there that the students looked, that the high school pupils looked up from their screen and said, hey, wait a minute, the conditions are bad in this school?
