Lawrence Singleton died on December 8th, 2001, at the North Florida Reception Center in Stark, Florida.

He was 74 years old and he had been on death row since his conviction for the murder of Roxanne Hayes.

The cause of death was not his lethal injection.

Those things exist in the world because one person refused to stay at the bottom of that canyon.

That doesn't bring Roxanne Hayes back, but it is permanent and it was bought at a price that should never have to have been paid.

Lawrence Singleton died of cancer on death row in December 2001.

The state of Florida never got the chance to carry out his sentence, so he got out of that one too.
