Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent

Mm-hmm.

Law & Order: Toronto: Criminal Intent.

Uh, every Thursday, by the way, 8:00 PM, Citytv, and you can stream it on Citytv+.

Dana Mori talking to, uh, Luke Kirby and Kathleen Munroe, who are on the show.

[laughs]

Right? And I was like, "Oh, God, we're gonna do this all day."

Here's Dana Mori with Luke Kirby and Kathleen Munroe from, uh, Law & Order: Toronto: Criminal Intent.

What's the biggest crime someone can commit on a first date?

It's the same thing with...

With us, like I worked with Sharon Forrest on the first season of Law & Order in Toronto.

And prior to that, I had never seen any Law & Order.

And I thought, well, I should watch some so that I know what the framework is that I'm working

within.

That's the Canadian version of a UK show that I don't think has been announced yet, but it's like, I'm a big, big, big fan of the UK one.

Huge fan.

And so it's kind of like a pink me dream moment that I get to work on the Canadian version and everyone on the team is is that exact same feeling so when you're working with a team who's just so excited and like really wants to make this the best thing it can possibly be it's like it's a pretty special feeling being a part of this team and i can't i like truly can't believe how lucky i am um yeah and then honestly law and order toronto is Like I said, I had never seen Law & Order before, but like when I said like, I'm going to watch one or two episodes to get a feel for it, that one or two turned into like 712.

Hello and welcome to the Movie Podcast.

My name is Daniel, and I am your one and only host today to talk to you all about Law & Order: Toronto Criminal Intent.

And that's right, no Shabaz, no Anthony.

That could only mean that they have been thrown in jail.

All episodes should be like this.

I'm kidding.

Am I, though? I am so excited today, though, to be welcoming two awesome Canadians to talk all about Law & Order: Toronto Criminal Intent.

Joining us on the show today is Luke Kirby joining season four of the show.

So that's the dream.

So I told Tassie Cameron, Law & Order Toronto Criminal Intent, was like – yo can I get a crime can you please give me a crime and so that's like I'm telling people I'm actively manifesting it into the world of like I would love to go and play in other people's places so you know I'm building stuff in my own world but anytime I can leave my world and go to your world and play that's what I want

Okay.

I can't wait to see it.

He studied drama at the National Theatre School of Canada.

In 2026, it was announced that Kirby will join the cast of Law & Order: Toronto: Criminal Intent in the fourth season [laughs] as Detective Sergeant John Darcy.

[laughs]

Is this my lover?

Is Kathleen always singing songs?

And by the way, the star of Law & Order: Toronto, Kathleen Monroe, amazing actor.

Oh.

That's a show?

Um, yeah.

Yeah.

Wait, Law & Order: Toronto?

Toronto.
