And then, uh, I guess that's it.

and the concept of that single use packaging for coffee.

Lavazza is really turning that on its head and saying there's no packaging involved in this.

know several different interesting aspects one is i think the convenience of the pot is what made the pod become of something uh i i am not as a connoisseur as you but i like coffee and my drip coffee but uh i think that the what's interesting about this change is it doesn't take away the convenience you know that's always becomes the conversation is there's so much packaging because everything's convenient today If we change that, is it not as convenient? And how does the consumer respond? So I think it keeps the convenience.

I'm not a pod drinker, but I would certainly give it a shot.

And, you know, it's funny, the article quotes a Lavazza VP, Daniele Foti, but no relation that I'm aware of.

I don't I don't have any insider information, despite the the coincidence on the name.

I have Illy coffee cup and I have Lavazza coffee going double, super, and molto intenso Lamborghini roast.

And you know that stuff is good because it comes in a black bag.

They're playing with your emotions like a rag doll.

And like we said, not the good people of Lavazza's fault.

It's what the U.S. Open does to people.

Describe the perfect day.

What's the perfect date? Like, tell me, what time are you waking up? Are you waking up with an alarm? Or are you just waking up naturally? Do you have a pet? Do you have someone in bed with you? Do you, like, lay it out for me? What coffee? Are you drinking Folgers or Lavazza? Are you, you know, like, paint it for me.

Are you reading the Wall Street Journal? Are you reading, you know, Love's Final Crest? Are you reading, you know, like...

talk me through the day are you heading to the church to quilt or are you going downtown to work at a food bank or are you showing up to your counseling office in a strip mall somewhere are you like get really specific with me about the day how much time are you spending with your spouse or how much time are you spending alone or with friends when you go out with your girlfriends Are you at a happy hour? You know, tapas and sangria? Or are you at a coffee shop at Starbucks at two in the afternoon? Are you, you know, which is all of those are fabulous.

And then Lavazza has been really great.

And they actually have a new showroom here in Dallas.

So it's been fabulous to be able to host some of my clients out there as well.

And it's really just changed our customer service side.

So I would say like off the top of my head, those are the top three right now that are kind of been at the forefront.

You mentioned that you liked hosting clients at the Lavazza showroom.

Is client entertaining something that you believe in? And talk to me about the importance of that, events, etc.? ?

It's in those moments, normally when I don't expect anything to happen, but it's always in those moments when I really, really need to know that they're around me.

And then of course, I have to mention Lavazza coffee.

I'm not promoting anything, but my mom loved it.

I can smell this coffee frequently.

And also that's a digression, but we do have with my mom various rituals.

And sometimes I just sit in the garden in those moments when I choose to listen to her and I prepare myself Lavazza coffee and we just sit and chat.

That makes me emotional.

And those signs and symbols that I've just mentioned, they will be meaningless to many people, but they're so important to me.

I've got mine this morning and again, clear cup today.
