One of them was I could have probably chump blocked with the 1-3 and maybe still gotten there because I had a Fire Blast in my hand and two Lava Darts, right? So each Lava Dart's like eight damage, right? So I could have maybe gotten there, but then also when he did the Pump spell, I could conceivably have Fire Blasted his biggest creature in response.

But I didn't even think about it because I'm like, oh, if I'm blowing my Fire Blast on this...

so normally i would say just just try to adjust your decklist to beat it however uh i myself have discovered one specific thing which completely changed my outlook on this and it was when mono red madness started popping off and it's a deck with lava darts sneaky snackers you know and it was this was the moment when kind of the downfall of fey was first first called because like You literally have a tier one deck, 10% of the metagame, with four Lava Dart's main deck.

And whatever else they want in the sideboard, Pyros and the festivities, everything they want.

And I thought, ah, yeah, it's kind of bad, but I guess we'll see.

And at first I thought, well, maybe I draw intruders so they don't die to Lava Dart.

We'll somehow manage.

But I didn't really manage that well.

And I realized the game is about being plus one cards as much as you possibly can.
