Laurence Merrick

So that was fun, right? So let's move on to the second unconfirmed Manson victim I want to talk about.

And that's a fella named Lawrence Merrick.

Now, Lawrence Merrick was a man of the arts, an author, an acting coach, a filmmaker.

Ironically, one of his former acting students, in fact, was a young Sharon Tate.

Interesting, right? I think it's interesting, but wait, it gets better.

Lawrence Merrick wasn't just some run-of-the-mill filmmaker.

My man was an Academy Award-nominated filmmaker, having been nominated for co-producing and co-directing the documentary feature film from 1973, Manson.

Yep, he directed a documentary about Charles Manson, and it was less than kind.
