How are they selected, and what do you look for beyond just whether a product technically qualifies as Made in Hawaii?
3:21
So it starts with the evaluation form.
3:24
They have to fill out a evaluation form that's actually also on the State of Hawaii's website to be 51% value added Made in Hawaii.
3:32
And this year we're gonna have little flags next to the ones that are manufacturing in Hawaii as well, so you can really see, you know, which, which ones are, like, 80, 90% made in Hawaii, you know, and so on.
3:44
But on top of that, we're looking for, you know, vendors that have a high quality product, vendors that are capable of scaling large enough to meet the demands of the festival.
3:52
So you know, obviously, we don't want them selling out the first day.
3:55
We want them to have enough product to last all four days.
4:25
And y- what do you think has separated those vendors who turn that weekend into, like, a long-term growth from, you know, from those who are just looking for good sales that weekend?
