So there may be players like Carolina never like to see any – Google Earth or anything like that on the courses because she was like, oh, I'm seeing all the stuff where I want to avoid.

And so we treated her different than we would say Mimi or Rachel or Lauren Walsh.

So but yeah, so we try to be prepared and kind of get all of our ducks in a row and do all we can so that our players can just go out and play and relax.

And definitely somebody that you could see making the... making the next step you know going on to the LPGA competing and contending the majors so I mean following from Lottie Wood last year another like really high caliber winner of the tournament

yeah I'd agree with you you make an interesting point about her trying to take that next step on to the LPGA tour and you know trying to compete in majors I mean she's she's already proven she's able to do that she's a top seven at the Women's British Open in 2024 and she was top 10 at the Evian this year it's just I suppose the highlights the lack of reward for you know being in the top 10 or the order on the order of merit on the LET or even leading it as she is in her case and she's a runaway leader but all that gets you is into the final stage of Q school for the LPGA so you can see how her progression might be stunted because you know she's going to go over to that final stage I'd imagine the world of pressure because this is the only chance that she gets you know there's no real progression point coming off the L.E.T. so that's maybe something that the tour needs to sort out in years to come because you know it could have easily happened to Lauren Walsh had she not been successful this year in getting her card she was top 10 in the L.E.T. last year so probably something that the L.E.T. need to sort out going forward but looking through the leaderboard then Mark there was a lot of Irish interest and Leona Maguire obviously came fourth her best finish at the Women's Irish Open 63-68 at the weekend which is a nice tonic for her going over to the Solheim Cup the week after next.

So what would you say about her performance? It was a slow burner, played pretty well for two days, couldn't get any puts and then seemed to catch fire across the weekend.

Yeah, she was very disappointed coming off the course on Friday.

She came eighth at the Scottish Women's Open to really put her hand up to Anna Norquist there.

And now she's kind of shown her hand there again with the fourth place finish.

Only four top 10s this season and 11 missed cuts so maybe that does speak to the inconsistencies that you touched on when you're going through a swing change and just then looking through the rest of the leaderboard Mark from an Irish point of view probably actually reflected the order of quality in Irish women's golf at the moment you know you had Lauren Walsh next best 24th on 800 power Did very well to make the cut, it must be said as well.

Anna Foster, 6-under.

I mean, she's already proven she's able to do that.

That's a lot of money putting across the top, how many people get paid out of it, I don't know, but there's a fair bit of edge in that for them, and rightly so.

So I think we had a lot of Irish in the field out here, I think there was maybe 16, and just others of note who finished, Lauren Walsh finished 8th under.

and a faster six under, only done again four under.

So it's great to see, you know, high up the leaderboard.

A shot behind that, Anna Foster in a tie for 17th on six under as she's playing her final hole of her third round.

Lauren Walsh back on five under, and Aine Donegan on four under par from an Irish perspective, while Annabel Wilson is back on one under.

Just how important is peer success? Like, obviously, you've set the standard for so many of them.

How important is it for the likes of Anna Foster, Sarah Burn to maybe follow Lauren Walsh or see the person beside them doing well just to spur that on and keep this momentum that the women's game has, keep that going?

Yeah, I think it's very much one of those things.

It's, it's the company you keep.
