Lauren Asher

By staging this specific micro interaction, the studio is rolling out a small patch to their most dedicated user base.

Ah, the readers of Lauren Asher's Dirty Air series.

Exactly.

They are testing the product for bugs before committing to a massive global launch.

Which is such a great setup.

And simultaneously, he is falling into a forbidden romance with Maya.

From a narrative engineering standpoint, Lauren Asher has basically constructed a scenario with maximum structural tension.

Right.

It has not yet, but I did have a big spike in KU Page Reads this week, so we'll see.

And very exciting news today, they are making a movie of Throttled by Lauren Asher, which is the number one selling F1 romance on Amazon.

Nice.

Um, so that can only be good for me.

Yeah, I think that's gonna be a, a lot of fun.

[lips smack] Next up on our being picked up is Amazon MGM has gotten the, uh, rights to Lauren Asher's Throttled, the first book in her best-selling Dirty Air series.

Off Campus star Josh Houston will play Formula 1 driver Noah Slade, with Nicole Wallace joining him as Maya Alatorre.

Daisy Jones & the Six director Zinga Stewart is directing from a script by Melissa Osborne, and the film will stream on Prime Video, though a release date has not yet been announced.

HRB divas.

Nicole Wallace has officially joined the cast of Lauren Asher's throttled movie adaptation.

She'll be bringing the character of Maya to our screens and starring opposite of Josh Houston, who will be playing Noah.

In other adaptation news, Lila Sage's Rebel Blue Ranch adaptation is officially in the early development stages with Universal Television.

Yeah.

I mean, I think Terms and Conditions by Lauren Asher, which is actually the book I was going to recommend, tries to get at the heart of it.

I think all of the Dreamland Billionaires books try to get at the heart of it.

The way that they talk to their partners is insane and it's not kind.

Josh Hewton will star in the adaptation of Throttled.

This, of course, is an adaptation of Lauren Asher's novel, and it's being developed by Amazon MGM.

Throttle tells the story of an ambitious young woman who joins her brother on the racing circuit and falls into a forbidden high stakes romance with her brother's ruthless teammate and fiercest racing rival played by Hewton himself.

The book has sold over five million copies.

Okay.

We did not talk about this last week, but it is – so it's a bit of an old piece of news, but Lauren Asher's Dirty Air series is getting adapted.

Yes.

We did get an announcement that book one, Throttled, is going to star Josh Houston.

sure that I got everything.

oh okay amazon mgm snaps up throttled romance based on lauren asher's book and they star josh houston um he's the main he just they just cast him as the main lead

who's josh houston

from off campus he's the zayden guy that everyone wants

So I don't know why I didn't think of games, duh.

But my immediate thought went to Dreamland Billionaires by Lauren Asher.

Oh, hell yeah.

Because they're, you know, that whole thing, it's business 101.

I want to know more about it.

So I watched Drive to Survive and then became obsessed with F1.

Jared didn't start liking F1, obviously, because of Lauren Asher.

but he hasn't read lauren asher but like it was it was truly around that time when he started to become interested in f1 that i was reading lauren asher for the first time in 2020 21 or whenever that was and so that was kind of interesting so i i know everything through lauren and through him because he still like keeps up he gets up early on sunday mornings to watch the races you know anyway so yeah what other subjects do you guys have i have a couple more but they're really quick hits what do you guys have
