Lauren Ambrose

[laughs]

'Cause it's when, uh, Lauren Ambrose is his lawyer.

Okay.

'Cause he ties up Lauren Ambrose's mom.

Mm.

Anyway.

Do you know a movie called About Sonny? No, I don't.

It stars Lauren Ambrose.

My wife, Kiki, knows the director, Brian Wiseman.

She was friendly with him by way of New York, who apparently about Sonny is very much about a single mom, working class, who's working in call centers and things that is not necessary.

Um, so yeah.

But I know Lauren Ambrose wasn't happy about her character death.

I won't say I was dissatisfied with how it was done, but I'm bummed out that Van was killed off, and that we also lo- lost, um, Lauren Ambrose.

Uh, and yeah, I do think Lottie could have been used in this... 'Cause wh- while Natalie was whatever Natalie was, right? I think Van could have had more time in the story, and I certainly think Lottie could have maybe been in the story more.

So maybe a few things did have to change direction.

Um, that would be wild if, uh...

Although Van's now no longer with us.

But, uh, I don't know, she gets re- uh [laughs], L- L- Lauren Ambrose gets reincarnated into, uh, Sadie Sink, and Sadie Sink joins the show as Van.

So even like, because I remember that movie The Hero with Sam Elliott and Laura Prepon.

I almost said Lauren Ambrose.

Different redhead, Laura Prepon.

There are scenes in there where Cameron Esposito and Ali Wong, stand-up comedians, are doing stand-up, and I'm like, oh, this seems so sweaty and fake and false and strained.

Knute Adams directed it.

And Lauren Ambrose, who you know from a lot.

Who you know from a lot of stuff, like Broadway, like My Fair Lady, like Six Feet Under, and this incredible all-star cast is here to tell us all about it.

I had a chance to speak to them virtually during their press day, and it was a good time.

So she's got movies and shows.

So why different Lauren?

Lauren Ambrose,

mate.
