I'm Laura Laker, and I've been out on the street with the City of London Police's cycling team, who are busy tackling the growing problem of non-compliant e-motorbikes on the streets.

So twist and go e-motor bikes are technically legal on Britain's roads, but only under specific circumstances.

By law, any e-bike that goes faster than three and a half miles an hour on a throttle or over 15 and a half miles an hour under pedal assist is classed as a motor vehicle and needs a driving license, full helmet and insurance.
