Last Week Tonight with John Oliver

Suddenly, personalized customer service and personalized temptation can look an awful lot alike.

The scope of this shamelessness gets special attention when John Oliver's TV show, Last Week Tonight, does a second piece on sports betting, 10 years after his piece on Daily Fantasy.

Here's Oliver describing how a DraftKings VIP manager communicated with a woman struggling with a gambling addiction.

He initially wrote back, saying, "I want to check in with you.

The other of my guests was one of the first people to join The Human Line, and his story was quite similar.

But it's not just Nevada, others are starting to see daily fantasy as a gambling Trojan horse slipping past the law.

This is articulated by comedian John Oliver in an episode of his weekly HBO show, Last Week Tonight.

It's like those lawmakers built a doggy door for a beloved pooch, and then daily fantasy came bursting through like a pack of wolves saying, "We are dogs.
