Last Ninja 2

We're stepping back to Wednesday, the 12th of October, 1988.

System 3's Last Ninja 2 had been out about six weeks and it was the big box everyone wanted.

Here's the plan.

The number one single Wednesday night telly the year's toys and a 16-bit price war, what things cost, the review pile, the game, the rows it caused, three machines on the music desk, looks and handling and our scores.

Mark Webb is with me as ever.

Morning, and I've been itching to do this one because Last Ninja 2 was the game people bought a disk drive for.

A ninja from old Japan dropped into modern New York is a daft idea on paper, and it worked brilliantly.

It came out on the Commodore 64 at the end of August.

Um, I'll just name some of the highlights.

Um, International Karate, The Last Ninja, Last Ninja 2, 3, IK Plus, uh, Last Ninja 2: Back With a Vengeance, Ninja Remix, International Karate for, um, the ZX.

So there's, there's a lot on that collection, so-

Have you ever seen-

Yep.

Anyway, you want to go from Lin Fen to 1988 Manhattan in Last Ninja 2? Good news.

We can go there, too.

Anyway, it's an Activision thing.

I mean, obviously, like all of us, probably seen the Angry Video Game Nerd series.

Was it Last Ninja 2? I think he covered...

I can't remember which one it was he covered a couple of years ago, which was quite great to watch.

But apart from that, yeah, I've not played them.

it has as you scroll down look you scroll through it has 21 pictures on just on the last ninja and the karate collection

so and to me look that looks but it's got like the manuals it's got the

stickers on there it's got the red car it's giving you like the pictures of it as well but yeah for me I feel like it's not for me this one at all this car I can't see I'm saying there's 14 games on there when it's kind of like a b and c versions because i even scroll down to have a look because you could you wouldn't when i scroll down and click on like um what's actually out at the minute like it tells you what versions are in a sec but yeah releasing the 4th of december which normally it's like like the end is it so maybe they're bringing it out early on see look yeah then it gives you the actual gumpf as well the full game list last ninja a b last ninja 2 a b c last ninja 3 b and a and b i mean it's international karate abc So, yeah.

So, to me, that looks pretty legit.
