I mean, it was, he just... devoured planets now now look i wasn't a comic book reader uh so i really didn't know about galactus so to me this was like the only eater of worlds i kind of knew uh so then you know unfortunately the autobots had seen better days at this point and they uh operate from two moons preparing a counter-offensive Then they end up going into, you know, and then, you know, Laserbeak and those other cassette Decepticons.

Those were always like, I thought they were cool, but also they would piss me off because how much they would kind of get over on the Autobots.

But then, you know, this movie too, like we introduced the Junkicons, we get the whole new, again, a new generation.

Oh.

Um, the first Decepticon that you see in the film that you would probably recognize is Laserbeak.

Omega Supreme's first appearance in issue 19, Command Performances, is a classic example of feeding two birds with one scone, introducing a new toy, and granting him a proper glow-up by having him take out other characters, ones with no more toys left in retail, off the board in a very definitive way.

And so the story goes, Megatron takes seven Decepticons, Skywarp, Starscream, Thundercracker, Frenzy, Rumble, Buzzsaw, and Laserbeak to hit what he thinks is an unguarded arc.

It's not.

and what follows is a straight-up Decepticon demolition.

Omega one-shots Skywarp before anyone even clocks what's happening, then transforms and takes out the rest of them, one at a time, without pausing.

Only Laserbeak escapes, carrying a badly-wounded Megatron.

And from there, Omega Supreme becomes a fixture at the Ark, up until his own toy gets phased out of retail.
