Lars Frederiksen

[punk rock music] Bring on the days of wilding roses Riot squads and fire hoses Bring on the days of wilding roses Riot squads and fire hoses Your leaders try to speak, they don't make a sound, no Autocrats run, but they don't move around, no Big money mergers, but does that move ya? X-ray vision, I see right through ya Do you remember when it was all black and white? When the old man moved forward and he never looked back But no one has a job, no, it's crime and torture A cocaine epidemic and a steel vulture Stuck inside a fire that is all clearing Superpower contenders, no one is endearing One superpower left, psychotic killer Worldwide assault, yeah, it's a thriller You don't wanna be the one that's got to go to jail If you're lucky, IMF will hook you up and you'll make bail Bring on the days of wilding roses Riot squads and fire hoses Bring on the days of wilding roses Riot squads and fire hoses [punk rock music] Bring on the days of wilding roses Riot squads and fire hoses Bring on the days of wilding roses Riot squads and fire hoses The menace of success oppresses rebellion The men who play chess with the human weapons The rally of ideas, yeah, is the question The city awaits total annihilation Living under the muzzle of a gun This is no holiday in the sun It's the sermon, it's the version V is not for victory but for the vacant hum Bring on the days of wilding roses Riot squads and fire hoses Bring on the days of wilding roses Riot squads and fire hoses Na-na-na-na-na-na-na Na-na-na-na-na-na Na-na-na-na-na-na-na Na-na-na-na-na-na, yeah [punk rock music]

[punk rock music]And that is Lars Frederiksen and the Bastards with a great track called Wine and Roses.

That comes from the first of two records that Lars Frederiksen and the Bastards put out.

This was the self-titled one in 2001.

Lars Frederiksen is, of course, from the band Rancid.

Yeah.

So there you go.

Excellent, excellent band.
