Larry Livermore

He grew up in Northern California and started playing drums at an unusually young age.

One of his early musical connections was Larry Livermore, founder of Lookout Records, who recruited him to play in a band called The Lookouts.

Trey was barely a teenager.

Most kids that age were worried about homework, bicycles, and whether their parents would let them stay out past nine.

Other DJs on KALX included members of Mr. T Experience, Sam I Am, just a bunch of people from a bunch of bands, as well as Lawrence Livermore, who co-founded Lookout Records.

So there's a lot of local East Bay punk and San Francisco punk energy happening at KLX.

It's a freeform station.
