Larry Appleton

Oh, yeah.

Larry Appleton from Perfect Strangers is from Wisconsin.

I always assumed they named him that because he was from Appleton.

He's from Madison on the show.

And he comes.

reconnects with his cousin, Larry Appleton in Chicago.

And he moves in and they live in Chicago and, uh, they, they work in, uh, like the mail room, I think at the new, at the newspaper, it's something like that.

And it's just lots of cultural jokes.

Yeah.

There's there's a so Tommy Lee Jones visit.

Is it his cousin that he visits? But but who who sort of is talking about that's your vanity and kind of thinking things.

Tommy Lee Jones is saying, you know, I used to understand there was crime, but I kind of understood it or it made sense or it sort of fit within certain boundaries.

All right.

My TV duo, I mean, I don't know if it gets better than, uh, Larry Appleton and Barky Bartholomew, Perfect Strangers.

Oh, that's another good one.

Barky Bartokomous.

[laughs]

... uh, Bronson Pinchot, the actor, played a, a, a character called Balki Bartokomous on the, uh, '80s sitcom, Perfect Strangers, starring Cousin Larry.

[laughs] Starring Cousin Larry and Cousin Balki.

Yeah.

Um, I looked at the-

Cousin Larry Appleton

...

Perfect Strangers.

And his cousin Larry Appleton.
