Lansing Township

Yeah.

And quite honestly, that's to me a good sign, uh, because, you know, I may want something in the city of Lansing that Lansing Township might not want or vice versa, and I think, I think communities need to be able to decide for themselves what they want to have in their community.

So to me, that was a positive.

It says, well, you know, whether it's a data center or an auto manufacturing facility or, you know, whatever it is, it means that James will allow communities to make those decisions up for themselves as opposed to the state government writing in and saying yes or no to a project.

Absolutely.

You both served on the Lansing Township DDA.

What did that job teach you that the capital talking point could not?

That the what could not?

I'm sure it's not perfect, but I do know that people communicate, people are in line, listen, work together and things get done.

And there's a reason, I guess, I guess we would have problems if we had a lot of people showing up at all of our meetings and we had a lot of public comment.

So I feel like I am super blessed to be part and have learned so much from the Lansing township and being part of this board.

It would definitely help with organizing and help figure out what's going on in Lansing.
