Lansing

I love, I'll just say I love Ithaca.

I actually grew up in Lansing and my grandparents and my mother lived, my mother grew up here in the city of Ithaca.

So I've had this experience with the city for a long time.

I'm one of those that went away for a period of time, but chose to come back because I wanted to raise my children here and be part of the extended family that I was part of.

Does that property tax boost offset the amount I'm gonna, you know, pay in my electric bill? It's probably not.

Um, you know, and, and, and, um, but, you know, we, as I think everybody knows, you know, TerraWolf is looking to put one in in the town of Lansing, which is a neighbor, and Lansing is now moving toward a ban as well.

They're in a much different situation than we were, but, um, just to wrap it up, like, we had an applicant come in for a s- very small crypto facility.

Supervisor, says, "How does this conversation you're having not fall within New York State's so-called moratorium on data centers for one year?" Does this fall, does that affect either what's happening in Torrey or what could happen in Dryden or what could happen in Lansing or anywhere else?

Um, that, so th- that moratorium, my understanding of it is, is it stops the state approval process.
