Laney Rouse

I'm getting there.

It's Laney Rouse.

That's a good option.

It's Laney Rouse's aggressive defense that is going to be the difference in this game.

Great.

I think...

Savindis Johnsdotter, Haley Mace silver.

Rated rookie, Laney Rouse.

Elite series.

Ooh, nice.

She's been playing great.

I'm so happy for Laney Rouse.

I think this is huge, and I think it's a reflection of how she is playing for Kansas City.

Obviously, we saw her out with a red card, unfortunately, the game before that.

Had a little bit of an injury previously, but we were chatting.

I thought she was in the mix of rookie of the year, rookie of the year as NWSL based off of her contributions before the injury and missing a few matches.

But huge shout for Laney Rouse and really excited to see what she'll do in that camp.

And along those lines, you know, We know Emma Hayes wants the development there.

From the, the moment things started cooking in the second half, it was pass, move, two touch passing, give and go, wait.

The overlaps were coming through from Laney Rouse, um, which also kind of helped some of that, right? Um, and some of the positioning and where players are positioned closer in.

Um, because Laney Rouse is making the overlap position, Michelle Cooper isn't playing as wide out to the touchline.

She's actually kind of playing inside the box and helping the defenders be more occupied with more numbers.

It changes things.

Um, I'm going to go with one, since it wasn't mentioned earlier, on the women's side.

Uh, Laney Rouse getting called up to the U23 team.

Heck yeah.

She is a replacement for a replacement, if that makes sense.

But she's stealthy.

She's hard to... keep track of if you will and kundanaji is is just like i said earlier just like an extremely dangerous offensive threat so it's going to be not only limiting claire hutton but it's just distribution to her in general uh and for kansas city we have seen different back four quite a few times i have huge trust in laney rouse's speed uh evil if she's out there On that right side, welcoming Gabby Robinson back has been huge.

Obviously, Rouse will be back after the suspension.

We don't know who's starting, but I think that those few handful of players are really going to have to track Kundan Anji and take her out of this match.
