Lane 8

Oh.

I saw Lane 8, Elderbrook, Nimino was there.

You couldn't even see.

Oh my God, it was great.

This is just amazing." And we're like, "He has an accent?" [laughs] But anyways, Elderbrook comes on, and he stands up, and he's on his feet, he's in his feet, and he just blares out-- oh, I have a microphone, blares out his gorgeous voice in the most strongest and, and almost like painful way.

And he's like, "I'm here to share with you something, and I'm gonna fucking say it." That was like his vibe.

And, uh, what was the last one? Lane 8.

I feel like we all just zenned out on that one, and we didn't quite watch him at all.

Many of you know that I started my career at WMe- WME in the mail room, but I extended it into the world of music festivals, and always heard one man's name, Jay Moss.

He represents some of my favorite artists, including Odesza, Lane 8, Elderbrooks.

Some of them have been on the show.

We're actually interviewing one of his acts, It's Murf, down at ACL, uh, next weekend.

Speaking of those two DJs, they recently played at the Gorge in Washington, US and they played a bit of a cheeky mashup, Deadmau5 and Lane 8 with Solomon Gray with Not Exactly Diamonds.

This is the Rinzen remix and my interpretation of that stellar mashup.

Corey and I went to Colorado for Lane 8, my favorite artist of all time at Red Rocks Amphitheater.

And so not only was it my first sober vacation, it was also my first vacation with my new boyfriend.

And I just have so many fond memories of, you know, so many firsts.

To be honest, the mix doesn't really have anything to do with the book beyond the title.
