I think my first introduction to punk rock music, and I guess like alternative music, was pretty young.

It's funny, the first music video I can remember blowing my mind and really getting me into modern music was for Monkey Ranch by Foo Fighters.

But because it was Much Music, I was first introduced to a lot more canadian punk and grunge bands like rusty and gob gob was pretty really really fun back in the day and then eventually as a teenager i my family moved to texas and that's when i started really holding myself up and playing guitar and discovering a lot of new music and playing in bands and getting really, really into music.

And while I played in a variety of bands, including country music and background tracks for hip hop and whatnot, the most fun I had was with my punk bands who were pretty chaotic, really inspired by like noise.
