Land of the Lost

I have two things to bring up, which if this first one has already been mentioned, then apologies.

But when I did Land of the Lost as Chaka, uh, Razzie nomination, um, didn't win.

We were approached by Brad Silberling to do the end credit song of Land of the Lost, and we had sort of talked about doing a song in the style of, like, that we hadn't watched the movie clearly, and we were trying to recap it and be like, "I think there was a dinosaur."

[laughs]

And, um, so there's a little bit of that [laughs] in this.

These guys are like one of the originating races of Abier Toril.

And they would like ruled the world, the dinosaur people in Land of the Lost for however many years.

And then they just disappeared because they were overtaken by the elves and the dwarves and everybody else.

And they sort of slunk back down.

Here's the town we're living in.

Um, as you know, the second-worst show of all time is called Land of the Lost.

And it's not second-worst animated show, or second-worst live action, or second-worst anything.

It's just second-worst television show, Land of the Lost.

Of course they made that into a movie, because we're fucking retards in this town.

We're fucking fresh out of ideas.

It does nothing, and here's what Hollywood...

Here's how Hollywood processes that information.

It feels very Land of the Lost.

That was like some Land of the Lost type, um, uh, special effect.

AKA the parking lot.

Right, right.

Elizabeth, you saw his, she, she wasn't joking when she said it, but it made me laugh the first time she said it, where she was like, what does Jurassic park like have a claim over dinosaurs? Weren't there any other movies with dinosaurs in them? Um, this is the only, the second one I can think of.

That's like, there's land of the lost as

well.

65 million, and now this, right? So if we count Land of the Lost, the OG.

Anyway, this is a movie by surprisingly- You've got

to know you've nailed it when you make a movie and it shuts down the industry for everyone else.

I know people like that, but I was like, I can't take these damn nerd jokes no more.

But I took a little nap and woke up, And they had a Land of the Lost panel.

Oh, yeah.

You would have loved that, man.

Yeah.

And they were just sitting there being goofy and just talking about old times.

But Land of the Lost is something we grew up with.

And they tried to do it again in the 90s.
