Lance Robinson

Of course, it sparked our team, and it was just great to see those guys, uh, excel running the football.

Speaking of the offensive line, they blocked so well that, uh, Lance Robinson was named the Outland Trophy Offensive Lineman of the Week.[clapping] nationally.

Uh, and I was gonna ask you, yeah, congratulations, Lance, uh, about your offensive line play because it did seem like, uh, i- as great as Isaac Brown is, even he needs a little bit of space to get started, and I thought they opened some, some pretty good cracks for him.

Well, that's a position that doesn't get a whole lot of credit.

He was the, uh, third most in program history and the most of any player in the FBS this year.

So Isaac joins, uh, Isaac on the, uh, honor roll there for the Hornung Award as, uh, he gets another honor nationally this week, and another one for Lance Robinson, who was named ACC Offensive Player of the Week.

Today, he was named Outland Trophy National Player of the Week.

Robinson's the first player to earn the Outland, uh, Player, uh, uh, Trophy in its four-year existence.

Six rushing touchdowns as well.

Louisville football back in action against Syracuse, 7:30 kick on Saturday night.

Again, some honors, some national honors for Lance Robinson and also for Isaac Brown.

Congratulations to those guys for the honors, and, uh, we will continue to, uh, hopefully the Cards continue to rack up some of those honors as the season goes along for Louisville on the football side of things.

But you had, I mean, some guys playing through pain out there.

You had Lance Robinson flipping around on the offensive line again.

A- and, and everybody who was out there got the job done against what you know is a talent.

I, I know that they, they're underachieving right now.

More positive news to kick off the four o'clock hour here.

I'm pumped.

Isaac Brown and offensive lineman Lance Robinson have each been named ACC Players of the Week.

Brown has been named the league's Running Back of the Week.

And I agree.

I think that as he becomes more comfortable passing from the pocket, as this offensive line that now has Anwar O'Neal back and has Kaysen Henry back at the tackles and it allows Lance Robinson to move inside, as those guys gel and continue to get more and more reps as a unit, this Louisville team and this Louisville offense especially can get a lot better.

like a lot better.

And I think that as you see Lincoln get more comfortable, I do think that you'll see Trey Richardson continue to have his touches go up.
