Lance Cove, Newfoundland and Labrador

Accounts of the event described the sound being heard far beyond Bell Island itself.

The apparent center of the event was near Lance Cove, particularly around the property of the Bickford family.

And this is where the story stops behaving like an ordinary mystery boom.

There was physical damage.
