kind of an advertising for them because the sacks have not only the name of the grain on, but they often have the name of the town that you're from and your name.

Ron was a high school ag teacher and FFA advisor in Lamberton, Minnesota for many years.

He started collecting these vintage cloth corn sacks in his spare time.

He eventually began to take them to the Minnesota State Fair for people to see them.

Corn may be a commodity, but these sacks from the 1930s and 40s are anything but.

They are colorful stories from across the land, stories that Ron loves to share with others.

I know before we went on the air, uh, we were talking a little bit about this and, you know, Jeff, you were taking field notes on some of, some nitrogen rate trials and, and you were kind of seeing the same thing.

Yeah, I was, uh, I'd taken notes on trials here at, in, uh, Waseca in Southeast Minnesota, and I was over in Southwest Minnesota, Lamberton, on, uh, Tuesday of last week.

And the Southwest, I was just, I was just, uh, really surprised.

A couple end studies and really only the nitrogen check, the zero end treatments, really looked end deficient.
