Towers Garden down in Lake Wales, Florida.

These beautiful, beautiful gardens and this big giant tower.

It's a singing tower where they play chimes and concerts and stuff.

And a few insist unseen spirits continue protecting travelers from dangers that claimed lives long ago.

Perhaps the best known example is Spook Hill in Lake Wales, Florida.

The official roadside marker tells a story that has become part of a local tradition.

Long before paved roads and automobiles, a massive alligator was said to have terrorized the region until a Seminole warrior confronted the beast in a battle so fierce that both lost their lives.

Federal officials say the schools were linked to more than 5,000 commercial drivers who failed required English tests.

The affected schools are East USA Training Academy in Sanford, the Florida CDL Trucking and Driving School, and Road Pro CDL in Lake Wales.

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy says federal law has long required commercial drivers to speak English and alleges some schools continued certifying drivers who did not meet that standard.

The DOT is also reviewing how states oversee and certify commercial testers.
