You've seen Lake Simcoe.

It's the first thing on the screen in 32 short films about Glenn Gould.

The first thing is him walking up the ice.

The first actual film is something like Summer

The several missions at Quebec, Montreal, Three Rivers, and in that region were united under common control.

The mission to the Hurons between Lake Simcoe and Georgian Bay was, during much of its thirty-five years of existence, the most dangerous of all because of the stolid barbarism of these cousins of the Iroquois, and later because the Hurons were frequently raided, and at last almost annihilated, by the Long House, a troublous period in which seven of the missionaries lost their lives in the work.

The Iroquois mission, which had a severe experience, its principal martyr being Father Jogues.

The Ottawa mission, about which we shall read in more detail upon later pages, because within this great field Father Marquette was destined to labor.

Now you're from Pickering, Ontario, which is on the north side of the lake, just east of Toronto.

And I know you like Lake Simcoe, but you really like Lake Ontario.

How often do you get, do you make that run? You know, I don't know, where do you go into Kingston or do you go across the bridge onto the U.S.

side? How often are you actually in the St.

so I'd be curious when did you first become interested in fish generally like how old were you what piqued your interest in both fishing and in art I guess how did all that kind of develop into where you're at today

so I started fishing between the ages of I think four and six and My grandpa would take me to the Holland River, which is this very murky canal in southern Ontario that drains into Lake Simcoe.

And I would always catch sunfishes and perch and black crappie and bass.

And my most favorite fish ever, which were the brown bullheads.

What does it even mean?

Um, if you go all the way up the 404 where it ends, like close to Lake Simcoe, Georgina, Lake Simcoe, um-

So I was literally just about on my way to Lake Simcoe.

And where I was playing, it was beautiful day, perfect weather.

And I said, no, this opportunity has come available.
