Lake Simcoe

It's a lake view.

I can see the Lake Simcoe from my backyard.

We have Lake Ontario.

We also have a lake up here called Lake Simcoe.

And that thing produces over 30 pound bags.

And I think it would be phenomenal.

But there's no, all the personalities taken from it.

Like if, if it was Ang fishing Lake Simcoe and he was talking about a perch pattern, it's just rewritten in AI and then it sends you the, so yeah.

Yeah.

Yeah.

It was just awesome.

I'm actually up at the lake right now, beautiful Lake Simcoe, where it's cold outside, but quite nice inside looking at the water.

Well, I am jealous already, but I do want to talk about the most important thing in your life.

Two kids, five grandkids.

If the only thing you're successful at doing is creating an industry that keeps our kids here and brings them back, we win.

Well, one of the things that a lot of people don't know, too, a lot of artists are supported by government grants, right? Canada Art Council, Ontario Art Council, even in Simcoe Lake, Barrie had their own art council that you can get grants through for the longest time.

Did you get any granting or government support to start up?

Yeah, well, Canadian film, we have a very lucrative tax credit that helps, you know, that goes towards our labor.

So, like, we, we used to, like, you weren't supposed to, but you could sort of swim there.

It w- but it was similar to, to like, Lake, Lake Simcoe and that.

Mm-hmm.

I would say Erie, to this day, Erie is the warmest.

And those reds sure look nice on an overcast day like today.

We had a couple of sunny breaks late in the afternoon, early evening, but we've also got a few showers impacting areas to the south of Georgian Bay around Collingwood, Stainer, and perhaps extending over toward the Lake Simcoe area too.

For the most part, though, we expect to be dry tonight.

And dry for a good portion of tomorrow.

I played with an app that tried to do that and didn't do a very good job of it.

Uh, but it was like a avionics app in Canada when we were, we were up fishing at Lake Simcoe.

And just to see where, like, different areas where people were that kinda caught fish and having, like, the sounding board of talking to people, just being able to communicate with other outdoors men and women or at least get reports from people is often very important.

That app was, barely anybody used it, but with onX so many people use it.
