And, uh, I ended up winning that tournament and I won't say it was because of the Carolina rig, but it, it was part of the game plan and it worked out pretty well.

The one tournament that I, that I did really well in was on Lake Murray one time.

Uh, one of the first at that time when, when the top 100s first started happening, uh, We only had three tournaments a year, and it was before they combined the tournament trails with the invitationals and top 100s.

When they combined the two for Angler of the Year, you had a separate standing for one and a separate standing for the other.

So we fished three tournaments.

One of them was on Bugs Island, caught a lot of fish.

on it there, one of them was on Lake Murray, and almost exclusively caught fish on it there, on these shallow flat points, the red clay points all around Lake Murray.

On the inside edge of the grass line, I was able to catch a bunch of fish on that.

Anybody that knows from Texas knows that you can really pull off something special.

So it's going to be at Lake Murray, right? South Carolina?

Yeah, Lake Murray, Columbia, South Carolina in the middle of October.

That's going to be exciting, man.

I think that tournament is going to go off as far as results.

with, keeping with the blueback bite, this has been talked about ad nauseum.

It's not just a secret here at Lake Anna or maybe you think of Hartwell or Lake Murray.

It is a fluke.

But there's two different sizes I want to talk about.
