Lake Las Vegas

Like I said, all of them artists.

But This month on Saturday, November 21st at 8 a.m., they're going to meet at The Village at Lake Las Vegas.

And they're actually all going to gather at DeRemo.

I think I might be saying that wrong, but I had actually never been there.

So I'm not 100% sure on how to pronounce it, but that's where they're meeting out.

Like I said, they'll hang out for an hour and then cruise around in Lake Las Vegas.

I mean, talk about a picturesque location to be able to snap a bunch of shots.

I mean, this is going to be sick.

yeah, we have it.

And I think along the way there, I met one Carter Froelich, maybe 16, 17-ish years ago, working on a really interesting workout for Lake Las Vegas that spread to many other transactions around the region, both in and out of Nevada.

And I think really what's been a very productive and successful working relationship between the three of us and also with the development community and most importantly with the public sector partners there with the cities and the counties.

And you forgot to mention I had nothing to do with the bonds at Lake Las Vegas going bad.

I just came in to work them out.

We'll talk about that later.

And there you can really see the difference.

Even, like, winning T100 Las Vegas, Lake Las Vegas, it didn't shift that much.

But then winning Taupo, like, it was a big shift.

So I think there is, like, you know, the topper and swelliness, there is a quick drop-off, I reckon, if you're, like, I don't know, like there will be for sure like 30 to 40 athletes that aren't good enough to probably break even.

You know, Ward 3 is everything north of Lake Mead Parkway except for – I don't take in Lake Las Vegas anymore, but Cadence along Boulder Highway there.

I go up into Green Valley.

So where Green Valley High School is, anything north of Warm Springs is mine.

They're sitting for about 185 days.

So they took a look at Lake Las Vegas.

Homes on the market are sitting for about 108 days in Lake Las Vegas.

So

that's like three and a half months.

How do you know Lake Mead? My parents lived in Vegas for a little bit.

Oh, yeah.

But, um, yeah, so like, so anyway, so back to like sort of that part of Henderson.

Then you have Lake Las Vegas which essentially is not like, like Las Vegas at all.

Um, only people who live out there are retired because who can live in Lake Las Vegas and drive anywhere in the city to get to work is beyond me.

But that is a place where people tend to retire is those very big nice houses or they work for home or they work in the stock market.

Don't know what they do.

JP Platt posted a picture of the bird late last week on social media which turned out to be a yellow grosbeak, a bird mostly seen in Mexico and Guatemala.

Since then, dozens of birders have come to his home in the Tuscany Village subdivision near Lake Las Vegas to see the feathered celebrity.

And wildlife biologist John Mark Simmons says people from across the country may soon make the trip if the bird sticks around.

I've been in Las Vegas for 25 years now, so it's definitely my home, and have pretty broad experience over 20 years in the hospitality industry, in the hotel, casino, resort world, on the Las Vegas Strip, and Where I really cut my teeth was at the Ritz-Carlton.

It was out in Lake Las Vegas.

And it was just the excitement and passion that I had for people where I really felt it deep down was at that particular company and how we treated people, how we treated our coworkers, how we cared so deeply about our guests and the tailored experiences we created for them.

And that was the moment that I think hospitality bled into me.
