And we lived on the lake, and so during the day crocodiles would be sunning themselves on our lawn.

So that was a particularly significant part of my life-

Well, that's my history.

So I was born in South Africa and then spent the 90s in Zimbabwe, in Kariba.

So that was a particularly significant part of my life because wildlife was just...

It was everywhere.

And that was 12 years ago.

Is there one childhood home in particular that has stuck with you? If you were to take us through the home and tell us what it was like, which one? The most, it gives me goosebumps thinking about it, our home

in Kariba in Zimbabwe.

It was an old fishing warehouse.

I'll take an example of Masimba Wati.

Masimba Wati has got this performance installation that talks about the Nyami Nyami, the history of the Kariba, It would take an entire afternoon for us to talk about it, but it's about ecologies, it's about, yeah, it's about ecologies, it's about communities.

And when he did a performance that I curated here, it was such a joy because I felt like I was seen.

I felt that it was work that could resonate with people on the Zambezi, in Kariba, that sort of thing.

And then we have someone like Moffat who works with communities to pick up rubbish and he turns that rubbish into work.

And when he has his exhibitions opening, for example, when he had an opening here, he invited all those people who sometimes only see one part of the process like they pick up something and then they deliver it to his studio and that's the end of their interaction uh with his work and then sometimes some of them um uh also are part of the process of like cleaning the uh the the the work and then um they that that's the entire interaction with the work so When he invited all those community members to the exhibition to say, you play a small part in my process, but you do play a part.

It's a newly discovered dinosaur.

Musango was discovered on the shore of Lake Kariba in Zimbabwe, according to the Museum of Natural History.

It's a rare find, as the country has a relatively unknown paleontological past.

Officials say the dinosaur only stood about five feet tall at the hip, but was an early version of the reptiles that evolved into much larger, long-necked dinosaurs like the brontosaurus.

What's the largest man-made lake by volume in the world? The answer is Lake Kariba.

It's the largest man-made lake and the biggest water reservoir in the world in terms of volume.

Located between Zimbabwe and Zambia, it covers 2,150 square miles, holds 180.6 cubic kilometers of water, and was created in the late 1950s when the Kariba Dam was built on the Zambezi River.
