The experience will be like no other you have seen, I can assure you.

That show is actually still in production and is celebrating its fifth anniversary in Disney Springs, where Downtown Disney used to be, and that's in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.

Now, if you're going to a touring show like the one that I did here, The times of these shows, expect a two to two and a half hour show.

There's an intermission there as well.

Horizon plays at Ocoee.

Colonials at Lake Buena Vista.

Dr. Phillips and Olympia play the nearby rivalry there.

Eastridge and Celebration do battle.

Because I know in years past, usually it's just in a very plain white envelope, like no Disney branding on it.

So if you get a very plain Jane letter from Lake Buena Vista, Florida or something like that, open it because that's where your tickets going to

be.

And also do yourself a favor, take a picture of the back of it.

Yeah.

But at the same time, what's kind of interesting is in the middle of between the opening of Space Mountain and the opening of the PeopleMover at the Magic Kingdom was the March 22nd, 1975 opening of the Shopping Village, uh, the Lake Buena Vista Shopping Village.

Okay.

And well, look, at the very top of, of today's show, you know, we talked about the, the transportation system for Epcot, the city.

Oh, yeah.

Um, yeah, that was the first land of what was supposed to be 13 identical office blocks.

And the long-term plan was that, well, look, yes, we're gonna rely on locals and folks who are vacationing at Walt Disney World to support, uh, the Lake Buena Vista Shopping Village.

But, uh, if they had built all 13 of these office blocks, this executive park, think about it, all of those folks at lunchtime would've walked across the street and eaten at the restaurants there.

and then of course there are things to consider at this point so things like the hotel location now obviously if you're staying on site at disney or universal or both amazing because you're super close to the parks you get the free transportation early entry wonderful if you're going to be staying off site it's worthwhile doing some research into the area obviously making sure it's safe it's really nice but also how are you getting to where you want to go So some people will try and stay in the middle so that they're kind of halfway between Disney and Universal.

Some people will stay close to Disney, so they'll stay in maybe Lake Buena Vista or Flamingo Crossing.

If you want to stay near Universal, you want to be at the top end of International Drive.

And that can make a big difference because if you are staying off site, you've got to factor in transportation costs and they can tot up very quickly.

So I was booked right away.

And I built that business up until I got a call from a closed nightclub, the Hague Lounge out in Lake Buena Vista.

They wanted me to reopen it.

i actually told them for 800 bucks i'd turn it into a video nightclub that was 1984 and mtv only started in 1981. i turned it into a video nightclub and so i worked there as a disc jockey for one year it was packed it was all new wave music and this is where the then it was so busy that new management came in and fired me it was disrupting hotel i don't blame them for doing it But a friend of mine, Les Goldberg, who owns a company called LMG, a huge touring company.
