What I love most is the moment you reach the top and the view opens up in front of you.

So Lake Thun lies on one side and Lake Brienz on the other, and Interlaken directly between them.

And when you look across the valley, you see the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau rising in the distance.

And up there, the Two Lakes Bridge is the classic viewpoint and, of course, a very popular place for photographs.

In the historic carriages, you travel slowly through forests and alpine meadows, while the views gradually open up.

On one side are the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau.

On the other, Interlaken and Lakes Thun and Brienz.

It really feels like traveling back on a, to an earlier age of alpine tourism.
