Lake Berryessa

The third pair of victims were not shot in a lover's lane situation, but were two young people, 22-year-old Cecilia Shepard and 20-year-old Brian Hartnell.

The duo were at Lake Berryessa when the Zodiac came up to them, tied them up, stabbed them in broad daylight.

Brian survived.

Cecilia passed away after two days in a coma.

To confirm, it wasn't him.

Brian Hartnell, the survivor from Lake Berryessa, even listened to the recording of Sam, quote unquote, on television.

And straight up was like, this is not the guy who I spoke to at length while he attacked me.

But I would like to look at some of the things that you guys left on the most recent Zodiac Monday because you guys were leaving some very insightful comments.

Firstly, there was some discussion about what Kieran and I were saying in regards to the Zodiac Killers Lake Berryessa stabbing.

Of course, on September 27th of 1969, the Zodiac attacked Brian Hartnell and Cecilia Shepard.

Now, Lake Berryessa is a pretty gorgeous spot from what I can gather.

Having been there personally, there are a lot of photos online because it is the largest man-made lake in Napa County.

about, you have, you don't want to get too far ahead because we have Lake Herman Road, Blue Rock Springs, and then Lake Berryessa that are all relatively isolated murders.

And you were going to make a comment about why the Zodiac may have chosen to commit crimes in these isolated areas.

We have July to August and then August to September.

But this is the end of September.

So, like, really, it almost is three months going to the Lake Berryessa stabbing.

This is the time when the Zodiac has worn his hooded costume for the only time with the Zodiac symbol on it.
