Among the mountains on all sides of Lake Louise are many scenes of unusual beauty and grandeur.

While the lake itself must be considered the focal point of this region and is indeed wonderfully attractive by reason of its rare setting, the encircling mountains are so rough and high, the valleys separating them so deep and gloomy, yet withal so beautiful, that the scenery approaches perfection.

Rain and frost and moving ice have sculptured out from this vast block monuments of varied form and aspect which we call mountains.

Just to one side of the beehive a graceful waterfall dashes over a series of ledges and in many a leap and cascade finds its way into Mirror Lake.

This stream flows out from Lake Agnes whither the trail leads by a short steep descent through the forest.

Lake Agnes is a wild mountain tarn imprisoned between gloomy cliffs bare and cheerless.

The parking lot was definitely not empty, but we were able to find a space, no problem.

So our plan for this day was the Lake Agnes tea house trail.

This is a really popular trail.

It takes you up, um, from the shores of Lake Louise to another Lake, a much smaller Lake called Lake Agnes.

I mean, the pictures that you guys showed me, insane.

So basically you hike up this beautiful trail and you get to Lake Agnes and right on Lake Agnes is this tea house.

They serve food, they serve some tea, and supplies either have to be flown in via helicopter, Hiked up or taken up by horses?

See, that's the only way that I could go there is if I was helicoptered up and just dropped off at the

top.

That is some iconic-ish.

We had breakfast up there on Lake Agnes.

It was absolutely beautiful.

Agnes.

Lake Agnes.

We were climbing up to Lake Agnes.

We had to have bug spray on because there's so many mosquitoes.

And we had sunscreen because it was so freaking hot.
